mBill will employ smart analytics on the website/app to understand your usage pattern and obtain details like time, frequency, duration, features used etc. This is only to consistently upgrade your user experience of the website/app.
All your data is stored in a cloud storage system, with a backup in a third-party location, in order to prevent data loss that may occur due to system errors. Even in case of termination of your user account, your files and data will remain on our servers. However, your data will still remain secure and will not be shared with anyone and will not be accessible even to the mBill team (excluding the circumstances as mentioned in this document).

When you use the platform or send emails or other data, information or communication to us, You agree and understand that You are communicating with Us through electronic records and You consent to receive communications via electronic records from Us periodically and as and when required. We may communicate with you by email or by such other mode of communication, electronic or otherwise. Irrespective of your DND status, PredictiVu Private Limited will be making calls and sending SMSs to you using third party vendor services.
To avail certain services on the mBill Smart Billing App, users are required to provide access to your phone’s SMS inbox records, location, browsing history, contact list, device ID, device name, device model and any other such information as required. The Information as supplied by the users enables us to improve the mBill Smart Billing App and provide you the best app experience. All required information is service dependent and the Company may use the above said user Information to maintain, protect, and improve the mBill Smart Billing App Services and for developing new services.
For the purpose of providing expense tracking service and personalized services, App reads the text messages (SMS) sent by providers of services and/or products including but not limited to Credit or Debit Card Issuing Institutes, Banks, mobile carriers, utility companies & retail outlets. No personal SMS are read by the App. Your explicit consent is taken before reading SMS Inbox of the mobile device at the time of installing the App. Any SMSes reported by users to the company are also used to train our engine in order to improve the App services. The collection of such information is only limited to the extent that such data is available in the relevant messages. mBill Smart Billing App may also record the identity of the product or service and the price or fee paid or payable in respect thereof.
Data which reveals the geographic location of you and your mobile device, where you have given us your consent to collect such information. When you first download the Application, you will be asked if you agree to your location information being disclosed to us. If you consent, then we may collect and transmit this information on a semi-continuous and passive basis, which does not require any further activation on your part. If you wish at any stage to turn off this passive location tracking, you will need to uninstall the Application.

- Information we can deduce from combining the above information – e.g., what apps you were using just before you searched for particular information using your mobile device’s internet browser, or how often you call, email or text a particular contact, or the geographic location in which you are most likely to charge your device, make a telephone call, or download an app.
In addition, the Application may collect (either directly or through third party integrated services such as Google Analytics, Facebook android SDK etc.) certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the mobile device model, device name, device’s serial number or unique identification number (e.g. Android ID or ADID on your Android Device), device operating system & version etc. and information about the way you use the Application. This information is only used to improve the Application & the service.
Your data may be retained for a reasonable time as necessary for providing you the required services or your explicit request to delete the data, whichever is earlier.
It is at all times possible to uninstall the Tracker or to change the settings on your Device so that no new Details are collected. mBill smart Billing App is then still authorised to use your personal details, but will delete them immediately at your request.
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. Please be aware that, we endeavor to provide reasonable anonymity & security to information we process, store, maintain and transmit on best effort basis. Access to our servers is password-protected and is strictly limited.
We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the information shared by users at the time of registration and user’s personal information accessed by mBill smart billing app in accordance with applicable laws. We do not share your personal information with any third-party except in accordance with the agreement. All user information collected is used for research purposes only.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
We shall make reasonable efforts to assist the Data Controller in fulfilling their obligation under GDPR Article 33 or other applicable law or regulation to notify the relevant supervisory authority and data subjects about such Security Incident. Note that, no money can be moved through this App. This means that even though you can view accounts, analyze expenses and transactions, you or the App cannot transfer money from one account to another.
